Handmade Websites

This is a photography website 'Not your average joe' by Joe Grisham

I think the built up the collage of the site is exactly what i would love to do for my website.
Its handmade with clip on photos, coffee stains, joe patch, post it notes and receipts. Which make it real and more personal

Dog tags and scissors

Looking at websites

I've been looking at some websites that are handmade for inspirational and some creative ideas
This is Mel Kadel

I like this work as its very hand-drawn and my style of writing and designing the drawings are all very similar.

FWA!

We have been asked to look at the FWA website, it as got alot of flash player mini videos on it which were easy to click and easy to access.

Here is a few of the websites on this site that i liked:

www.nike.com

http://www.lidu.fr/followthewhiterabbit/

http://www.jimcarrey.com/

http://www.adhemas.com/

www.bjornborg.com

Dead of the day skulls painted on paper first then scanned in. I like the way this turned out i gave it a rough hand painted look then when scanned in i cleaned it up.

Web formats

HTML, which stands for Hyper Text Markup Language, is the predominant markup language for web pages. It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists etc as well as for links, quotes, and other items. It allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms. It is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of "tags" surrounded by angle brackets within the web page content. It can include or can load scripts in languages such as JavaScript which affect the behavior of HTML processors like Web browsers; and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define the appearance and layout of text and other material. The W3C, maintainer of both HTML and CSS standards, encourages the use of CSS over explicit presentational markup.[1]

Formats for macs :)

I have been looking at some different formats and there uses for macs.

PSD
A PSD file is layered to easily modify the image file. It contains all the image sources for your web design template. To manage files of this type you need Adobe Photoshop software installed on your computer. You can do any kind of customization using Adobe Photoshop because this powerful tool allows you to change text, image colors, or add your own photos to your web design template and save the optimized image data for web.

Ai
Adobe Illustrator Artwork (AI) is a proprietary file format developed by Adobe Systems for representing single-page vector-based drawings in either the EPS or PDF formats. The .ai filename extension is used by Adobe Illustrator.

FLA
fla files contain source material for the Flash application. Flash authoring software can edit FLA files and compile them into .swf files. The Flash source file format is currently a binary file format based on the Microsoft compound file format

.SWF
.swf files are completed, compiled and published files that cannot be edited with Adobe Flash. However, many '.swf decompilers' do exist. Attempting to import .swf files using Flash allows it to retrieve some assets from the .swf, but not all.
